The “Grief-Out Star” Contest provides acknowledgement and a financial award to a nonprofit organization dedicated to grief support. Starting December 1, 2010, we’ll give one contest winner 15% of the profits from our T-shirts for one year, a certificate, and trophy and award presentation at the annual Grief-Out Forum. Our Grief-Out Star for 2011 is The National Students of AMF Support Network. Grief Out would like to congratulate and thank AMF for their passion and dedication to grieving college students.

The National Students of AMF Support Network is the only national organization dedicated to supporting college students grieving the illness or death of a loved one.

The National Students of AMF Support accomplish their mission by helping students start chapters of Students of AMF on college campuses nationwide, providing information and support through www.studentsofamf.org, raising awareness about the needs of grieving college students by annually hosting a National Conference on College Student Grief and National College Student Grief Awareness Week, and holding fundraising events to support these initiatives.
